Medical Science Research Bulletin (MSRB) requires an exclusive license to publish articles, balancing the rights of the publisher and authors. This policy ensures protection and clarity for all parties involved.

MSRB Journal requires the corresponding author, on behalf of all authors, to grant an exclusive license with the following rights:
- Publish, reproduce, distribute, display, and store the work.
- Translate the work into other languages.
- Adapt, reprint, and produce summaries, extracts, or abstracts of the work.
- Create derivative works based on the work.
- Incorporate electronic links from the manuscript to third-party content.
- Authorize third parties to perform any of the above tasks.
- Pursue legal action on behalf of the author(s) if a third party violates or is likely to violate the manuscript’s copyright.
Author Permissions
Authors retain significant rights to reuse their work for non-commercial purposes without seeking permission from MSRB Journal. Commercial use requires prior notification. Authors may:
- Share a PDF of their work with other researchers for educational purposes.
- Make limited copies for personal or non-commercial use, including educational objectives.
- Republish parts of the work in author-edited books or other publications (excluding multiple contributions in the same publication).
- Use research findings and illustrations in future projects.
- Include the article in course bundles at their institution, provided the bundles are not sold for profit.
